Don had been a stay-at-home Dad for 8 years raising our two daughters. He was raised in Little Neck, NY, and then his family moved to Douglaston, NY where his three sisters still reside. Don has a degree in Psychology from Vassar College. He worked at the city desk at the New York Post for 10 years and then followed with a career in Real Estate and environmental freelance writing. Don’s main topic in his writing was water, he investigated and wrote about injection wells, cancer clusters, corporate environmental liability, and many other water-related issues. Since we have been farming, he has done a deep dive on the pesticides that wreak havoc on people’s health and remains a passionate activist to reduce pesticide use in the Commonwealth.
