Thank you for considering Long Life Farm to grow organic and nutritious food for your family. My husband Don and I celebrated 10 years on this farm in February 2021. I was raised in the suburbs of Illinois and spent summers at my grandparents’ farms helping out in the vegetable gardens, and tending to the chickens, cows and pigs. I have a BA from Lake Forest College with a major in International Relations and German. I spent 27 years in the medical device business, and most recently was VP of Sales and Marketing for Covidien. I am proud of what I achieved and learned throughout my career, but I was looking for something that gave more meaning to my life. I moved around a great deal during my career and always found home in my vegetable garden no matter where I lived: California, Florida, New Jersey, Illinois, Missouri and finally Massachusetts. My husband Donald Sutherland and I have lived in Hopkinton since 1998 and both of our daughters have gone through the Hopkinton Public School system.
